Since earning my CA designation in 2008, I have dedicated my career to the field of Private Enterprise Tax. My journey includes completing the CPA In-Depth Tax Program from 2016 – 2018, completing the CPA In-Depth Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business Course in 2024, and spending the past decade focusing exclusively on Small Business Tax. For the past six years, (2018-2024), I served as a Manager and Senior Manager in the Private Enterprise Tax Group at KPMG.

My passion for small business and admiration for risk-taking entrepreneurs led me to become a small business owner myself. This experience has deepened my appreciation for the dedication of each small business owner, and I approach every client and engagement with the same level of care and commitment I would apply to my own business. By maintaining a smaller client base, I ensure that each client receives exceptional, timely service and the thorough attention their needs deserve.

When I’m not immersed in the latest edition of the Income Tax Act or crunching numbers, you’ll find me living life to the fullest—whether that’s soaring above the rim on the basketball court, enjoying family trips, exploring hiking trails, cheering on the Calgary Flames (this is our year!), or mentoring aspiring tax accountants through my ongoing role in the In-Depth Tax Program.
